i saw this ring on lauren conrad when she was on the hills, i absolutely adored it but every time i went into a legit jeweler's place...no one had any idea of what i was talking about and thought the concept of the ring was tacky & they look at me as if i was crazy. But once i showed them a picture and ask them an estimation, they made it sound like it was going to be IMPOSSIBLE to create such a ring & were charging me over 600$. so when i want something real bad, i research and look for places that might be able to create this ring with a reasonable price (note: if i applied this much effort in school, i would be having no issues coughing up the prices they were asking to get this particular ring made). anyhow, i got in contact with the actual place where lauren conrad got her ring made but it was about 5bills (US, note: i'm Canadian) + s&h + customs fee, so i wasn't going to pay all that money for this ring.
in the end, i found a website (legit and secured) that made this particular lauren conrad inpired ring. i love it and people who don't watch the hills, come up to me and compliment how i creative i am (obv. i take the credit, haha). it's definitely a good conversation starter.
& the ring came up to $200 (10k yellow gold). i saved 300ish.
